Nursing Oncology symposium to promote excellence
Prominent international nursing researchers like Savitri Singh-Carlson, Researcher at British Columbia Cancer Agency, Canada addressed a nursing oncology symposium here today to promote excellence in research and leadership in the field for providing quality cancer care.
Besides Savitri Singh Carlson, others included Dr Sarah Easow, Diplomat of the American Board of Internal Medicine, Hematology & Oncology, a press release said.
Dr Harish Pillai, CEO - Aster Medcity, said the hospital aims to facilitate knowledge exchange between the global and Indian nursing experts on research initiatives for nursing oncology care to make them better equipped in their oncology care services.

Security Printing & Minting signs MoU with CPPRI * Security Printing and Minting Corporation of India (SPMCIL) has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Central Pulp and Paper Research Institute (CPPRI), a national level institute under the administrative control of Department of Industrial Policy (DIPP).
This MOU affirms commitment of SPMCIL and CPPRI for undertaking research and development activities and dissemination of knowledge and research training in area of pulp and currency paper, an official statement said.
It will facilitate cooperative initiatives in the area of basic research to increase awareness and information sharing amongst key stakeholders through joint research; workshops and seminars; and regional and international forums, it added.
